You know you go through your teen years dating and experience heartbreak and I had my share. I became tired of the game and was aware of what i was looking for in a relationship at the age of sixteen.I had alot of great friends in school and we had alot of fun together. There was this one guy who caught my attention from day one but he was off limits cause my friends had a huge crush on him. She didnt have a chance and it was known but cause we were friends. I respected her feelings of even being interested but I truely was inticted. Lets call him Jesse. He had all the qualities I was looking for in a guy. Jesse was good looking, athlethic, confident but shy, funny, and not arrongrant. I summed that up without ever talking to him. We had a athletic class together and I couldnt wait to talk to him cause I had the perfect guy in front of me all along. Jesse and I were friends for my whole freshman year and I keep a low profile so he probably had no idea that I wanted to be anything more then a friend. In the meantime, my friend Judy was dating everyone so that made the dating pool have slim picking too cause you cant date someone who dated your friend right?
Whoever wrote the bylaws for friendship, they should of put in some exception rules for friends like Judy. A girl like me who followed the rules was lucky to get a date before she latched on to him first. It was okay though cause none of the guys had what I was looking for except Jesse.I recieved some bitter sweet news towards the end of the year. Judy and her brother James were moving out of state. They were both my best friends and I was very sad about it and I was going to miss them. We had so many adventures together over the 2 years I knew them. If it hadnt been for judy and james I wont of adjusted to my move to texas. With Judy moving it meant that I had a chance to talk to Jesse to see what he thought about my feelings for him and that was sweet.
